Weekly Service:

  1. Test water chemistry.

  2. Maintain proper water balance (chlorine, pH, alkalinity). 

  3. Empty filter pump, skimmer, and vacuum canister baskets.

  4. Brush tile line, steps, and walls.

  5. Brush/vacuum floor as needed.

  6. Record chemical readings, chemical adjustments, and services provided.  Email report to customer.

  7. Communicate to customer any issues with pool, spa, and/or equipment.


Terms of Service:

  1. Water Level: Homeowner or resident is responsible for maintaining proper water levels.

  2. Chemicals: Basic chemicals included for normal conditions and use: Chlorine, muriatic acid, soda ash, and sodium bicarbonate.  Treatment of Algae provided at an additional cost.  Additional chlorine due to excessive consumption provided at an additional cost.

  3. Frequency of Service:  Service is provided an average of 4 times per month or 48 times per year.  Each 12-month period will include up to 4 non-service weeks to be used for inclement weather, excessive heat, holidays, sick days, staff classroom training, and/or vacation.

  4.   Access to Pool & Equipment: Homeowner or resident to provide access to pool and equipment during regular business hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm), or as mutually agreed to.  Homeowner or resident to provide gate codes, keys, access to gated community, and/or any special instructions to access the property.  Missed service due to any of these reasons, will not be rescheduled.

  5. Inclement Weather: During inclement weather conditions, service may be limited or not be provided.

  6. Excessive Heat: During excessive heat conditions, service may be limited to chemical readings, chemical balance, and emptying baskets.

  7. Pets: Homeowner or resident is responsible to contain and restrain pets.  Missed service due to pets not being restrained, will not be rescheduled.

  8. Additional Clean Up Charges:  In the event pool & spa are unusually dirty due to excessive debris (ie: overgrown landscaping, foliage, garbage, and/or debris created by other third-party service providers), additional charges may apply.

  9. Repairs: Any repairs up to $50 will be completed as routine maintenance and invoiced on the next billing cycle.  Any repair over $50 will require approval from the homeowner.

  10. Filtration System Cleaning: The filtration system must be kept clean and in good working condition.   Homeowner/resident will be notified when filter service is needed (two cleanings per calendar year are recommended).  Filtration system cleaning provided at an additional cost.

  11. Payment: Payment is due on the 5th of the month.  Late fees charge of $10 will apply to past due invoices.

  12. Surface Staining: Since plaster, pebble, and stone are natural materials, a certain amount of shading, staining, and color variation will occur over time.  The VBPS is not responsible for such aging of pool & spa surfaces.

  13. Water Aging: Ideal total dissolved solids, calcium, phosphates, and CYA levels may require pool draining.
