POOL & SPA FAQ'S
WHY DOES WATER TURN GREEN?
The most common reason why pool water turns green is algae growth due to low chlorine levels. Without sufficient chlorine, algae can take over and turn water dark green. Swimming in water with substantial algae growth can be unsafe. It is advisable to contact your professional pool technician in order to assess water conditions, implement a plan to remove algae growth, and balance chemicals.
